Year 4 delivered a fantastic class assembly this week to a packed audience of family, staff, and children.

They captivated us with fascinating facts about the rainforest, including the astonishing statistic that 10% of all known species call it home.

The children showcased their impressive persuasive writing, passionately arguing against deforestation. 'Can we really let this happen?' 'The fate of the world is in our hands'. Their work was filled with emotive language and key persuasive techniques, making a compelling case for conservation. We were also treated to a display of their incredible dioramas, which accurately depicted the layers of the rainforest, showcasing their creativity and attention to detail.

A highlight of the assembly was their performance of a song about the importance of preserving the rainforest. Their confidence and enthusiasm shone through, leaving a lasting impact on everyone watching. We are immensely proud of Year 4 for their hard work, creativity, and passion. Well done, Year 4!
