Class update from Friday 12th September 2025:

This week, we were delighted to welcome our new Reception children to school, and what a fantastic start they've had! From the moment they arrived, the children have shown such enthusiasm and curiosity as they explore their new environment. One of the highlights of the week has been the water tray, where the children had so much fun splashing, pouring, and experimenting with different containers — there were lots of giggles and teamwork as they played together.

Lunchtimes have been a big success too, with everyone trying their yummy lunches and showing great independence at the dinner tables. In our imaginative play house, the children got creative making pretend pancakes, chatting away as they flipped and served them to their friends.

We’ve also spent time learning about red and green choices, helping the children understand how to make kind, safe decisions and be great friends. Everyone was excited to find out which fruit groups and coloured teams they are in, and it’s been lovely to see them starting to build new friendships and settle into their routines.

It’s been a busy, happy, and exciting first week, and we’re so proud of how confident and brave our new starters have been as they begin their school journey.
